Our Story
Despite our name, we are not currently providing recurring lawn-mowing services. The name reflects where our experience began, but the business has evolved toward the work we enjoy most and where we can provide the greatest value: transforming outdoor spaces.
Lovebirds Lawn Care is focused on landscaping, landscape-bed installations and renovations, decorative stone and mulch, plant installation, sod preparation, cleanups, and outdoor property improvements.
Lovebirds Lawn Care was built on the belief that caring for someone’s property is about more than plants, mulch, stone, or sod. It is about trust, communication, attention to detail, and treating each home with care and respect.
We believe the best results come from listening to what the customer wants, understanding the property, and taking the time to do the work properly.
Our goal is not to become the largest landscaping company in Tampa Bay. We want to remain small, personal, and intentional so every customer feels known, every project receives our direct attention, and quality is never sacrificed for volume.
About Jenny
I grew up on a family farm and nursery in New Jersey, where landscaping and property care were part of everyday life. My parents started small, focusing on mowing and basic property maintenance. Over time, the business expanded to include landscaping, irrigation, paver installations, pool decks, storm cleanup, and complete property transformations. No matter how large the projects became, one thing never changed: the way they treated their customers.
As a child, I spent much of my time on job sites. During large projects and storm cleanups, I would often sit inside with the homeowners, usually older women I lovingly called my “aunties.” They baked me cookies, let me watch cartoons, and treated me like family while my parents worked outside.
They were never viewed as just customers. Many of them had trusted my family from the very beginning.
Thirty years later, when my parents passed away and I took over the business, many of those same customers were still with us. I eventually chose to downsize, letting go of newer accounts so I could continue caring properly for the families who had supported us for decades.
Through that experience, I realized I had learned far more than how to maintain properties, design landscapes, or grow plants.
I learned that relationships matter.
That loyalty is earned over time.
And that when you genuinely take care of people, they remember it.
That philosophy is the foundation of Lovebirds Lawn Care. The goal is not growth at all costs. It is staying small enough that trust, care, and quality are never compromised.
About Jordan
Jordan brings more than ten years of hands-on experience in landscaping, lawn care, property maintenance, trimming, cleanup, and outdoor improvement projects.
He notices the details others often overlook, from clean bed lines and balanced plant placement to proper preparation and a finished result that looks intentional. He takes pride in doing the work correctly rather than rushing through it. His practical experience complements my design background naturally, allowing us to balance creativity, precision, and functionality on every project.
Together, we personally complete the work we estimate. Customers are not passed off to rotating crews or subcontractors.
We share the same values: quality over quantity, thoughtful work over rushed work, and relationships over numbers.
